Itinerary Details

Day 01
Day 01: Delhi

Arrive in Delhi and enjoy a warm welcome from one of our representatives who will then escort you to your hotel for check-in and an overnight stay.

Day 02
Day 02: Delhi (City Tour)

After breakfast embark on a day’s city tour across the major destinations in the city. Visit attractions such as Laxmi Narayan temple, Jama Masjid, Red Fort, India Gate, Raj Ghat, and Humayun’s Tomb etc.

In the evening return back to your hotel for an overnight stay. 

Day 03
Day 03: Delhi – Udaipur (by air)

In the early morning you will be transferred to the domestic airport in New Delhi to board the flight to Udaipur. On arrival in the city, you will check into your hotel. Enjoy a lavish breakfast in the hotel and in the evening take a boat ride on the Lake Pichola. Return back to your hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 04
Day 04: Udaipur (City Tour)

After breakfast take the tour across Udaipur city by visiting attractions such as Sahelion ki Baari, Jagdish temple, City Palace complex, and Bharatiya Lok Kala Mandir. The evening is at your leisure, overnight stay at your hotel.

Day 05
Day 05: Udaipur - Ajmer Pushkar (273 km/ 4.5 hours – 14 km/ 20 min

After breakfast you will drive down to the holy city of Pushkar, en route visiting another sacred town - Ajmer. A visit to the Dargah Sharif in Ajmer will create a serene feeling. On arrival in Pushkar, check in to your hotel; spend the evening at your leisure and overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 06
Day 06: Pushkar - Jaipur (145 km/ 2.5 hours)

After breakfast explore the attractions housed within the Pushkar town, specifically the temples. A trip to the Brahma Temple, the revered Pushkar Lake, and the Pushkar Fort will complete your trip across the town. Later you will proceed on your journey to Jaipur, the capital city of Rajasthan. Upon reaching the city, check into the hotel, the evening is at your leisure and overnight stay the hotel. 

Day 07
Day 07: Jaipur (City Tour)

On the 7th day of the India architectural trail, you will travel around Jaipur. The first attraction that you will visit is the Amber Fort. Later, you will visit the City Palace complex, the Jantar Mantar, and the Hawa Mahal. You will also get a chance to visit the lively bazaars of the city in the evening. Return to your hotel in the evening, overnight stay in the hotel.

Day 08
Day 08: Jaipur – Agra (231 km/ 4 hours)

As you say farewell to Rajasthan on the 8th day of your trip and move out of Jaipur and into Agra, the next destination in the circuit. En route you will also visit the attractions of Fatehpur Sikri such as the Jama Masjid, Panch Mahal, Buland Darwaza, and Birbal Bhawan. Upon reaching Agra you will check into your hotel for an overnight stay. 

Day 09
Day 09: Agra – Gwalior (121 km/ 2 hours)

After breakfast, proceed on sightseeing tours across Agra city. Agra Fort and Taj Mahal are the 2 significant monuments you will visit on this day. Later in the afternoon, you will travel down to Gwalior - a medieval city located in the Indian state of Madhya Pradesh. Upon your arrival check-in at your hotel for an overnight stay. 

Day 10
Day 10: Gwalior – Khajuraho (276 km/ 4.5 hours)

Discover the beauty of the forts and palaces housed within Gwalior. Gwalior fort, Man Mandir palace, Saas- Bahu temple, and the Surya Mandir are a few of the amazing attractions you will visit today. In the afternoon you will travel down to Khajuraho and visit the temples that are frequently visited for their bizarrely erotic sculptures. Upon your arrival, check-in at your hotel for an overnight stay. 

Day 11
Day 11: Khajuraho - Orchha – Delhi (by rail)

After breakfast start the trail across Khajuraho by exploring the eastern group of temples followed by the western group. Once you have travelled through the town, you will be transferred to the Jhansi Railway Station from where you will board the train to Delhi. En route to Jhansi, you will also visit the attractions of the medieval city of Orchha. Upon your arrival in Delhi, check-in to your hotel and spend the rest of the evening at your leisure. Overnight stay at your hotel. 

Day 12
Day 12: Delhi – Amritsar (by rail)

After breakfast you will board the early morning train to Amritsar - the city of the Golden Temple. A revered shrine, especially for the Sikhs, the Golden Temple derives its name from the gold work that adorns the sanctum sanctorum of the shrine. Upon reaching Amritsar check-in at your hotel and you can then embark on a half - day sightseeing tour. Return to your hotel in the evening for your overnight stay. 

Day 13
Day 13: Amritsar – Delhi (by rail)

Travel around the city and visit the major sites housed here such as the Jallianwala Bagh, Tarn Taran Gurudwara, and the Amritsar market. In the evening you will board the train back to New Delhi and on arrival here you will be escorted to your hotel by our representative for an overnight stay.

Day 14
Day 14: Delhi departure

Depending on your flight schedule, you will be transferred to the airport for your return journey back home.
